So unless you are suppose to be in the Word or talking to someone, Set the mood and get the job done!

If you are unmotivated or just plain bummed, do what you need to do to get motivated. Crank the tunes, open the curtains to let the light in, open the windows to get fresh air and get the job done!

This is what I had to do this morning. I turned on www.air1.com and wow the words to the songs hit me where I'm at and really got me back on focus to what is important. And my song for the day is Jonah 33 Faith like That, I believe it's called.

So here's the challenge, from me to you. Listen to a Christian radio station or your fav Christian CD and when a song hits you and becomes your song for the day, email me the title and artist. I'd love to hear words got you through the day. Or if you are write songs, write a song!

Christian music whether your style or not brings glory to God. So ditch the secular and find a Christian station that works for you. Check out www.christiantuner.com which has pretty much every kind of style you could want.

I'm trying to bring discipline and structure to my life. I need to get adequate rest in order to serve.

I will serve God, my family and myself well by getting the rest I need and being disciplined. This is incredibly hard. It's really easy to let life just happen and to do what you want especially as a mom. I'd love to do what I want and often I keep busy because I don't want to do certain things. (Laundry, dishes etc) Seriously I want a maid.

For seasons after I became a mom I embraced the house work and what I needed to get done and I know that at those times I was more disciplined and had a structure to my day.

Implimenting a structure for me is hard especially when I have been out of one for a while. It is also especially difficult as I have to do this on my own. I have to make this happen.

But I'm better off for it and so is my family. So here I go. Trying. I'm heading to bed by 10pm.

Decide in your heart in advance how much you will give.

I believe giving is of money and time (which in some cases time is money). So decide in advance how you will spend your money. Decided in advance how you will spend your time. I recently did up a budget for my time. Wow. I don't have a whole lot left if I do all I'm suppose to do. But I'm excited. Now I just have to follow through.
