Am I attractive?
Ok so what kind of a question is that? Yes I'm attractive! :)
Let me explain...
I have been giving a lot of thought to "my style of parenting". (I dislike that phrase) What are my kids going to think of how I parented when they are adults? What do they think now? (Great question to ask your kids... as a friend of mine did and shared! - Thanks!)
As I was doing my quiet time this morning this is what I wrote. "Lord help me to relax with my parenting. Set up boundaries yes, punish disobedience yes. Don't expect perfection. Be ok with them making mistakes. Love them, love them, love them. Show love, talk to them, encourage them to do what is right. Are we making obedience attractive?"
Ouch! That one stung!
After that last line I stopped and then wrote this..."Lord forgive me. Help me to live louder than I talk and to stay calm and to love, love, love. In words, in actions, in all languages."
So in conclusion and a couple other cool thoughts for the day.....

As the CBC kids host shared today (on Manitoba kids time) "Unexpected Happenings - that's what life is all about.... Even if physics can tell the future I don't want to know about it!"

Praise God for Canada. Pray for each province and what they are dealing with. The PM, his role and his family.

It's been a great couple of weeks, I'm having a blast with friends, Kevin's family, doing some spa stuff and am getting in some great bonding time with my sister in law. Like I said before these are the best days of my life.
